Institute of Mortgage Lending

The Graduate of Mortgage Lending (GML) designation is targeted to mortgage professionals offering them a board overview of the complete industry. Professionals will have an extensive knowledge of the history and success of the mortgage industry and the effect that business practices had on the economy, and development of government agencies, along with current industry updates.

The Institute of Mortgage Lending requires 1 or more years of experience within the mortgage industry.

The Master of Mortgage Lending (MML) designation is for those mortgage professionals who enjoy the prestige that comes from being the best in our field. The Master of Mortgage Lending is a recognized and respected designation within the mortgage industry. The Master of Mortgage Lending (MML) designation that follows your name lets industry professionals know that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge from which you can competently practice in the mortgage industry.

The Institute of Mortgage Lending requires 1 or more years of experience within the mortgage industry and you must complete the Graduate of Mortgage Lending before you can proceed to the Master of Mortgage Lending.

The Certified Mortgage Instructor (CMI) designation is for mortgage training professionals who value integrity and professionalism within the mortgage industry. Those Certified Mortgage Instructor (CMI) designess will become part of a national network of dedicated and experienced training professionals who are committed to making a difference in mortgage education. To be eligible for the Certified Mortgage Instructor designation, you must first meet specific standards and instructional experience, plus attend an Instructor Development Workshop hosted at the NAPMW Annual Meeting and Convention. Exemptions will apply to those who have been in the training industry for at least three years.

The Institute of Mortgage Lending requires previous professional training or educational experience in the mortgage industry. Students must complete the Instructor Development Workshop hosted at the NAPMW Annual Meeting and Convention unless they have three years professional training or educational experience within the mortgage industry, plus other documentation.
